Meet the Buddy Pairs
Two lives. One shared journey.
Meet the veterans and service dogs at the heart of The Buddy System Inc. Each partnership begins a new chapter, built through time, training, and trust.
The partnerships behind the mission
Every Buddy Pair has a story.
A Buddy Pair is a veteran and service dog learning to work together as a team. With training through selected professional partners and ongoing support, each pair develops a partnership shaped by their individual journey.
These stories celebrate the people, dogs, and community that bring our mission to life.

Interested in a Buddy Pair?
Learn about the application, review, matching, and training process. Requesting information is the first step and does not guarantee selection or placement.
Support surrounds every pair.
The Buddy System Inc. coordinates matching, first year veterinary support, and connections with selected training professionals. Donors, volunteers, and community partners help make that work possible.
Help make the next Buddy Pair possible.
Your generosity helps veterans and service dogs take the next step together.
