Help a partnership take shape.
Each Buddy Pair represents an estimated $12,000 to $15,000 investment in dog acquisition, first year veterinary care, and professional training for the veteran and dog together.
Annual sponsors and monthly donors help sustain both direct program support and the work that makes these partnerships possible. The Buddy System Inc. coordinates the process, with training provided through selected professional partners.

Lifetime Recognition
Your qualifying charitable gifts accumulate across the years. Lifetime recognition is separate from annual Mission Partner status and does not reset each January.

Public recognition is optional. Anonymous donors may also advance through lifetime levels. Recognition remains subject to organizational guidelines.
Questions about supporting the mission
How long does annual sponsorship last?
The Mission Partner Program supports the full 2027 calendar year. Lifetime recognition is tracked separately and does not reset each January.
Can individuals become Mission Partners?
Yes. Individuals, businesses, community organizations, and other supporters can participate in annual giving.
Can I give a different amount each month?
Yes. The Battle Buddy Club includes a custom giving option. Contact The Buddy System Inc. to discuss a monthly amount that fits your goals.
What counts toward lifetime recognition?
Qualifying charitable contributions actually received, including annual Mission Partner gifts, monthly gifts, and direct charitable gifts, accumulate toward lifetime recognition. For purchases that include goods or services, only the recorded charitable contribution portion counts. Contact us about recognition for contributions of goods or services.
May I remain anonymous?
Yes. You may decline public recognition at any level while continuing to build qualifying lifetime giving.
Does sponsoring a Buddy Pair give me selection or naming rights?
No. Sponsorship recognizes your support of the mission. Veteran selection, dog matching, training, and placement decisions remain with the program. Veteran stories and updates are shared only with appropriate permission.
